Today, we celebrate the Thirtieth Sunday in Ordinary Time.
Jesus reminds us of the two greatest commandments in the Old Testament: To love God with all our heart, mind, and strength and to love our neighbor as ourselves. The key to fulfilling the second commandment, loving our neighbor, is keeping the first, loving God.
The psalmist in the Responsorial Psalm offers a beautiful example of this love when he exclaims: “I love you, O Lord, my strength, O Lord, my rock, my fortress, my deliverer! My God, my rock of refuge, my shield, my salvation, and my stronghold! Praised be the LORD! Blessed be the Lord, my rock!”
Praise God indeed! Let us love God first, so that we can love our neighbor best!
We welcome you to join us for Mass celebrations on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. and Sunday at 8:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., and 12:30 p.m. The 12:30 p.m. Mass will be live-streamed via our YouTube Channel. Daily Mass is held at 8:15 a.m. in the church from Tuesday through Friday.

Thank you to each and every one of you who has contributed to our New Carpet Fund over the past several months! Our goal was to raise $95,000, and as of this past week, we have raised just under $94,000!
A down payment has been made, the carpet has been ordered, and it has arrived! The only delay has been the need to repair some recent roof leaks in the church to ensure that the new carpet will not be damaged.
We have been told that the carpet can be installed between Sundays, in just five days, six at the most! We will announce soon when the installation will begin.

As we observe All Souls’ Day on November 2, we invite you to join us for Mass at 8:15 a.m. or 7:00 p.m as we prayerfully remember and honor our departed loved ones. The 7:00 p.m. Mass will be livestreamed.
During the 7:00 p.m. Mass of Remembrance, we will especially remember those who have died since last year’s All Souls’ Day. Please share their names with the parish so we may honor them in prayer. Remembrance books will also be available at the back of the church for you to record the names of loved ones who have gone before us.
May our loving God grant eternal rest to the faithful departed and bring comfort and hope to all who mourn. Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.

First, you can submit your prayer intentions via our church website by clicking the button below or by placing in the Prayer Request Box on the table at the entrance of the church. These prayer intentions are collected and lifted up on a monthly basis.
Second, join our monthly Prayer Meeting which will meet virtually on Friday, November 20 and every third Friday of the month at 7:00pm.
Third, if you need prayer urgently, there will be a few prayer volunteers who are happy to pray with and for you today after the 10:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Masses. Please meet in front of the tabernacle immediately following Mass.
