Today we celebrate the First Sunday of Lent. The 12:30 p.m. Mass will be live-streamed via our YouTube Channel.
Lent is a holy season through which we are challenged to ask God to transform our lives through prayer, almsgiving, and fasting. We take the time to confront the things and people that are holding us back and ask God to set us free.
To help your daily devotion, we encourage you to sign up for Dynamic Catholic's Best Lent Ever. You will receive a daily email with a short video to help you reconnect with yourself and God.
In his Sermon Notes, Father Pat reminds us that God's suffering hunger and loneliness was all for us. In return, he asks that we "Repent, and believe in the gospel". Are you willing to fight temptation, indifference, spiritual sluggishness, etc.?

Due to the overwhelming generosity of our beloved parishioners, we not only achieved the goal of our diaper drive, but we exceeded it.

The parishioners of Saint Augustine donated to date 6,170 diapers and 1,000 baby wipes to the DC Diaper Bank.
Saint Augustine Parishioners are the very best. We thank you and the families in our area in need of diapers and baby wipes thank you.
